Getting the rest of the walls up.
We are ready for the rafters.
We bought the rafters pre made. We had a lot of help from friends getting those things up there. It was pretty impressive.
Those friends stayed until the decking was down.
Lots of decking.
They were troopers, they finished just as it got dark. Great friends. Good times.

Years ago in NM when we built our house, we put up beams that were 26 feet long and something like 6"x8" thick. We used a man called Juan Loco to hoist them up with his back hoe, and then our friend "Big Bear" helped us push them in place. Everyone needs friends with nick names and special skills.

Buck: I just told Jay that Oklahoma does have some beautiful sunset. All that decking being down was pretty sweet to.
