Rocking Chair

I bought this rocking chair at a garage sale for 5 bucks. With a little paint and fabric it went from junk to junque. (That's fancy junk) I enjoy taking things that are no longer useful or lovely and making them lovely again. This is my first attempt at posting pic.s. It took me 2 days to figure it out, I think I may be related to Ashleys grandma.

The chair looks great!

It took me a while to figure out blogger too. You are way more technical than my grandmother.

Ashley, thanks for the compliment! I think your blog is great, too. It's a wonder what a network of friends I've built through blogging. I found Buck first, and through him, I found Lou. Through Lou, I've found you and Jesse and now Junk Diva. And all because one day I was bored and clicked the Next Blog Button on my toolbar and up popped Buck's blog.
I'm so glad I did that. My life is richer for knowing you all.

Actually I had seen Becky's blog on Ash's page and checked it out. I was going to leave her a message, my sister-in-law knits, spins her own yarn, and even raises alpacas and sheers them, then cards her own fibers. So I found your page interesting, we must chat.

The chair is mighty fine. It only took me a year to figure out how to post photos. Now if I could just figure out how to do italics on the comments or links. I keep it pretty simple for good reasons.

learning to write HTML is loads of fun. Its kinda like watching grass grow...and from the looks of things around your house the other day...you should LOVE that.
